[Media Monday] The Sweater, by Roch Carrier

This is a children’s story by a Quebec-born author named Roch Carrier. A quote from this story reads: “We lived in three places: the school, the Church, and the skating rink. But our real life was on the skating rink.” This quote is seen as striking such a chord in Canadian culture, that it was chosen by the Canadian buy herbal viagra Mint in 2001 to be placed on the back of our five-dollar bills.
